Passo Coe Botanical Garden |
At Passo Coe (6 km far from Folgaria) on the slopes of Monte Marònia at an altitude of 1600 m.
Owned by the Municipality of Folgaria, this protected area has no exotic plants: it hosts only plants and flowers typical of the alpine environment.
There is a great deal to see in the garden: plants, flowers, interesting geomorphologic phenomena, the deeply sunk doline and furrowed fields, a sheep pen of the pastures, an alpine well, giant anthills, the woodpecker’s tree … |
