Hofentol Waterfall |
A surprising cascade of water concealed in a deep natural ravine, a short walk from Guardia, the painted town.
In summer it’s relaxing to sit near the waterfall and refresh yourself in the shade of the trees, letting sparkling drops of water caress your skin. One can reach it within 15 minutes from the village along the path, that crosses the Gon Forest and leads to Folgaria.
In winter the Hofentòl waterfall becomes a monument in ice.
Between Christmas and New Year the path to Guarda is illuminated by a thousand lights and the waterfall becomes a “cascade of lights and ice”. It’s certainly worth a visit: at the end of the spectacular and exciting path a glass of piping hot wine awaits you. |
