WINTER
Folgaria and Lavarone and their Skitour dei Forti are the best centres for skiing in the South East area of Trentino.
They are renowned both for their environment and quality, and are immersed in the breathtaking panoramas of the Brenta Dolomiti, the Adamello Group, the Marmolada and the Pasubio’s Massif. A wide and varied choice of 125 km of pistes is available with programmed snow (200 snow cannons which cover the entire ski area) and also ultra modern four-seater chair-lift.
The elevated wide plains of Passo Coe, Forte Cherle and Millegrobbe offer Nordic Ski Centres and 90 km of tracks which are considered among the most exciting in Trentino both for fun and for competition.
Winter sports activities in Folgaria, Lavarone and Luserna are nurnerous and varied: alpine skiing, carving, snowboard, excursion skiing, off-piste, sledge, ice-skating, snowshoeing and walks. Highlands and Sport, a winning combination that recalls the great national teams pre-season football and basketball have definitely consecrated as such.
And if the Highlands were entered in the panorama of the great title 'great sport' it must be the provision of sports facilities which are the range of quality golf Spilzi Maso, the Sports Hall and the Ice Palace of Folgaria, regulation soccer fields, the basketball courts and other facilities such as the new Tennis Center Lavarone.
