Snowshoeing is a sport for all , you don’t need experience or special skills, you just put on your snowshoes over your boots and… walk. Where can you go on snowshoes?
As with ski mountaineering, there are no marked trails, so it is important to follow a mountain guidewho can place at your disposal not only the snowshoes, but also his/her qualifications for single or organized group excursions, day or night, ending with a happy lunch or dinner in one of the typical mountain huts on the Altopiano. However, to have fun on snowshoes it’s not strictly necessary to employ a mountain guide: you can go snowshoeing on your own. Snowshoes are on sale in the sports equipment shops or are available to hire.

Areas particularly suitable for this type of activity are the plateau of Passo Coe and the hills of Pioverna on the Folgaria plateau, the area of Monte Tablat at Lavarone and the area of Cima Campo - Millegrobbeon the Luserna plateau.
